Frequently Asked Questions
Does this remove or replace the factory air suspension?
No. The factory air suspension is completely retained. Lift is added above the factory strut top mounts, so all air suspension components, sensors, and compressors stay in place and continue to function normally.
Will this trigger fault codes?
On air suspension models, adding lift may cause the ride height sensor to flag a fault. Our Adjustable Level Sensor Links recalibrate the sensor position and prevent warning lights — strongly recommended.
Is a wheel alignment required?
Yes — a full wheel alignment is required after fitting any lift kit. Skipping it causes uneven tyre wear and affects handling.
Will this fit my vehicle?
It is engineered specifically for the Cayenne 958 and Touareg Gen 2 / 7P, 2011–2018. It is not compatible with Gen 1 platforms.
Is this legal for road use?
The kit raises the vehicle 2 inches, which is within the legal limit in most countries and US states. Modification laws vary by region, so check your local regulations before fitting.
What warranty is included?
One year. If any component has a defect within 12 months of purchase, replacement parts are provided free of charge — email info@overlandtrek.com with your order number.

No complaints about how it performs — handles rough terrain really well. Just a bit expensive compared to similar options out there.
Front end needed a tiny camber tweak after install but that's pretty normal. Lift height is exactly as described.
Fitment was spot on for my 2014 Touareg. The instruction sheet had a couple steps that were hard to follow but we figured it out.
This thing woke my Touareg up. Clearance is noticeably better and the highway ride is still totally comfortable.
Really happy with the quality and the extra clearance. Only complaint is it sat in a warehouse for two weeks before shipping.
