VW Touareg Gen 1 & 1.5 2-Inch Air Suspension Lift Kit (2002–2010)
Adds two inches of real ground clearance to the Touareg Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 Facelift using precision-machined forged 7075 aluminum spacers fitted above the factory strut tops. The factory suspension stays in place — nothing is removed, cut, or fabricated.
This is a complete set. The 1-inch subframe drop kit, adjustable sway bar end links and adjustable level sensor links are all included — nothing extra to buy. Tubular upper control arms are not needed at 2 inches, so they are not part of this kit.
Two choices to make above: first your car, then your colour. Each generation has its own kit — VW facelifted the Touareg for the 2008 model year, so the hardware is matched to the car you pick from the Select your vehicle dropdown. Gen 1 covers 2002–2007; Gen 1.5 Facelift covers 2008–2010. The Color choice is cosmetic only — red and gray are the same kit in a different finish.

Complete Set — Correction Parts Included
This kit is not just spacers. Every set ships with the matching 1-Inch Subframe Drop Kit, Adjustable Sway Bar End Links and Adjustable Level Sensor Links, all in the same order. The subframe drop keeps CV and control arm angles in their working range, the sway bar end links set the anti-roll bar back to neutral at the new ride height, and the level sensor links keep the air suspension reading the correct height so no warning lights appear. Tubular upper control arms are only needed from 3 inches of lift, so they are not included here. Fit everything together, then book a full wheel alignment.

Which options should I select?
Two choices. First your car: Gen 1 is the 2002–2007 pre-facelift 7L Touareg, Gen 1.5 Facelift is the 2008–2010 car. Then your colour, which is purely cosmetic — red and gray are the same kit. If you are unsure which generation yours is, email your VIN to info@overlandtrek.com before you order.
What is included in the set?
Front and rear lift spacers and hardware, plus the 1-inch subframe drop kit, adjustable sway bar end links and adjustable level sensor links. You do not need to buy any of these parts separately. Tubular upper control arms are not included because they are only needed from 3 inches of lift.
Is there any difference between the red and gray kits?
No — the finish is the only difference. Both are the same kit with the same components, spacer height, and hardware.
Does this remove or replace the factory air suspension?
No. The factory air suspension is completely retained. The spacers fit above the factory strut top mounts, so all air suspension components, sensors, and compressors stay in place and operational.
Will this trigger fault codes or warning lights?
Not when the set is fitted as supplied. The adjustable level sensor links included in the set recalibrate the ride height sensor position, which prevents the air suspension warnings a lift would otherwise cause.
Is a wheel alignment required?
Yes — a full wheel alignment is required after any suspension modification. Book it immediately after fitting for correct tyre wear, safe handling, and accurate steering.
Is this lift legal for road use?
At 2 inches it falls within the legal lift limit in most countries and US states. Modification laws vary by region, so check your local regulations before fitting any suspension lift.
What tyre size can I run after a 2-inch lift?
Typically up to around 275/65R18, depending on wheel offset. Email info@overlandtrek.com with your wheel specs for a precise recommendation.
What warranty is included?
A limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If a product fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship, we repair or replace it at no charge. It does not cover damage from accidents, misuse or improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
