Porsche Cayenne 955/957 & VW Touareg 2-Inch Coil Spring Suspension Lift Kit (2002–2010)
The lift kit for Gen 1 Cayennes and Touaregs running steel coil spring suspension. Forged 7075 aluminum spacers fit at the strut top mount and uprated steel coil springs replace the existing coils, adding 2 inches of ride height and better load-carrying for overland use.
The matching 1-inch subframe drop kit is included in this package — there is nothing extra to buy for geometry correction at 2 inches.

Each generation has its own kit — choose your car from the Select your vehicle dropdown above. Both Porsche and VW facelifted these cars for the 2008 model year, so the hardware is matched to the car you pick. Four options cover the range: Cayenne 955 (2002–2007), Cayenne 957 (2008–2010), Touareg Gen 1 (2002–2007) and Touareg Gen 1.5 Facelift (2008–2010).

This kit does not fit cars currently running air suspension, or the Cayenne 958 / Touareg Gen 2 (2011–2018).

Geometry Correction — Already Included
The 1-inch subframe drop kit ships inside this package, so the front subframe is lowered as part of the same installation and CV angles and control arm geometry are restored without a second order. Nothing further is needed at 2 inches.
Adjustable level sensor links and adjustable sway bar end links are parts for our air suspension lifts and are not used with this kit.

Will this fit my car?
Yes, if your car is currently running steel coil spring suspension. If it currently runs air suspension, you need one of our air suspension lift kits instead. If you are unsure, email your VIN and a photo of your strut to info@overlandtrek.com before you order and we will confirm.
My car was converted from air suspension to coil springs. Does this fit?
Yes. What matters is the suspension on your car today, not what it had from the factory. A car converted from air to coil springs takes this kit; a car converted from coil springs to air takes our air suspension lift kits.
Which option should I select?
Match the option to your car's model year. The 955 is the 2002–2007 Cayenne, the 957 is the 2008–2010 facelift. On the Touareg, Gen 1 is the 2002–2007 pre-facelift 7L and Gen 1.5 Facelift is the 2008–2010 car.
Does this kit convert air suspension to coil springs?
No. This is a lift kit for cars already running coil spring suspension. It does not include conversion parts for air suspension cars.
Do I need to buy a subframe drop kit as well?
No. The 1-inch subframe drop kit is already part of this package and arrives in the same box.
Does this lift need any other geometry correction parts?
No. At 2 inches the included 1-inch subframe drop kit handles the geometry.
Are my struts and dampers kept?
Yes. The spacers mount at the strut top mount and the existing coils are replaced with uprated springs. Your struts and dampers are retained.
Is a wheel alignment required?
Yes — a full wheel alignment is required after any suspension modification. Book it immediately after fitting.
Is this legal for road use?
At 2 inches the lift is within the legal limit in most countries and US states. Modification laws vary by region, so check your local regulations before fitting.
What warranty is included?
A limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If a product fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship, we repair or replace it at no charge. It does not cover damage from accidents, misuse or improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
