Yes. Every Overlandtrek front bumper ships with a 6 mm (0.236 in) manganese steel winch plate rated to accept winches up to 12,000 lb (5,443 kg) — you don't need to buy one separately. The winch unit itself is not included.
How thick is the steel?
The tube is 50 mm (1.97 in) diameter with a 3 mm wall — 0.118 in, or roughly 11-gauge. The mounting plate is 5 mm (0.197 in), which is thicker than the 3/16 in plate commonly used on comparable bumpers. The winch plate is thicker again at 6 mm (0.236 in).
How much does this bumper weigh?
40 kg (88 lb). Added front-end weight may cause slight nose sag on stock suspension — owners also fitting a winch should consider heavier front springs or a levelling kit.
Will this fit my 2002–2007 Touareg?
Yes — fits all Touareg Gen 1 pre-facelift trims. Not compatible with 2008–2010 facelift — select the correct version for your year.
Can I mount lights on the bull bar?
Yes — integrated brackets accept LED light bars and pod lights. Lighting sold separately.
Do I need to cut or drill anything?
