Porsche Cayenne Subframe Drop Kit — 2–3 Inch Lift Geometry Correction
When you lift the body, the front subframe stays at factory height — leaving the CV joints, driveshafts, and control arms at wrong angles. The result is vibration, CV joint stress, and accelerated drivetrain wear. This kit repositions the subframe to restore correct driveline geometry.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly does a subframe drop fix?
Lifting the body leaves the front subframe at its original height, putting the CV joints, driveshafts, and control arms at incorrect angles relative to the wheels. That causes vibration, CV joint stress, and accelerated drivetrain wear. This kit repositions the subframe downward to restore correct geometry.
Is this needed at 2 inches, or only at 3?
Recommended from 2 inches and essentially required at 3. We advise fitting a subframe drop on any lift of 2 inches or more for long-term drivetrain health.
Is a wheel alignment required?
Yes — a full wheel alignment is required afterwards, and alignment cannot be set properly without it.
Can I install this myself?
The job requires safely supporting and lowering the front subframe, so professional installation is strongly recommended. Instructions are included.
What warranty is included?
One year. If any component has a defect within 12 months of purchase, replacement parts are provided free of charge — email info@overlandtrek.com with your order number.
