It weighs 32 kg (71 lb) and carries a 6 mm (0.236 in) manganese steel winch plate rated for winches up to 12,000 lb, fully e-coated inside and out. Direct bolt-on using the factory mounting points.

Why is the winch plate steel when the bumper is aluminum?
The 7075 aluminum body keeps front-end weight down, while the winch plate uses 6 mm (0.236 in) manganese steel because that is where recovery loads concentrate. Steel is the right material for that specific job.
