Full coverage for the rear differential in 5 mm 7075 aluminum alloy — solid protection without the weight of steel. Direct bolt-on to factory underbody points.

Which option should I select?
Match the option to your car's model year. Cayenne 955 for 2002–2007 cars, Cayenne 957 for the 2008–2010 facelift. On the Touareg, Gen 1 is the 2002–2007 pre-facelift 7L and Gen 1.5 Facelift is the 2008–2010 car. If you are unsure, email your VIN to info@overlandtrek.com and we will identify it for you.
Aluminum or manganese steel — which should I choose?
The 5 mm aluminum plate is lighter and well suited to overlanding, fire roads, and moderate off-road use. The 3 mm manganese steel version work-hardens on impact and is the better choice for serious rock crawling and repeated heavy strikes.
Do I need to remove this for servicing?
Yes — the plate comes off for underside maintenance access, using basic tools.
Why is the aluminum plate thicker than the steel one?
Aluminum is less dense than steel, so a thicker section is used to reach comparable protection while still coming in lighter overall.
Can I buy all the skid plates together?
Yes — the complete aluminum skid plate kit bundles the plates at a lower combined price.
