Tubular Upper Control Arms — Lift Geometry Correction
Geometry correction for lifts of 3 inches and above. At that height the factory upper arms run at angles that accelerate ball joint wear and spoil handling. These extended tubular arms restore correct geometry so a proper alignment can actually be set.
Not required on a 2-inch lift. At 2 inches the factory arms stay within their working range, and lift geometry correction only becomes necessary from 3 inches.
Two choices to make above: first your car, then your adjustment type.
The arms are built for the vehicle you pick from the Select your vehicle dropdown — seven options cover the Cayenne 955, 957 and 958, the Touareg Gen 1, Gen 1.5 Facelift and Gen 2, and the Audi Q7.
Then, under Adjustment type: Blue is the manually adjustable version — you set the correction yourself to suit your lift height and wheel package. Gray is fixed — preset at the factory, nothing to adjust.

Which options should I select?
Two choices. First your car — on the Cayenne, 955 is 2002–2007, 957 is 2008–2010 and 958 is 2011–2018; on the Touareg, Gen 1 is 2002–2007, Gen 1.5 Facelift is 2008–2010 and Gen 2 is 2011–2018; or Audi Q7. Then your adjustment type: blue for manually adjustable, gray for fixed. If you are unsure which generation yours is, email your VIN to info@overlandtrek.com before you order.
What is the difference between the blue and gray versions?
Blue is manually adjustable — you set the correction yourself, which lets you match it to your exact lift height and wheel package. Gray is fixed, preset at the factory, with nothing to adjust. Both restore correct geometry; the blue version gives you control over how much. If your build is unusual or you expect to change lift height later, the adjustable version is the safer choice.
Do I need these on a 2-inch lift?
No. Lift geometry correction is required from 3 inches and above. At 2 inches the factory upper arms still operate within their designed range, so the standard arms are fine and a wheel alignment after fitting is all that is needed.
What lift height do these suit?
They fit lifts of 2–3 inches and become necessary from 3 inches. They are not needed at stock height or on a 2-inch lift, and are not designed for lifts beyond 3 inches.
What happens if I run a 3-inch lift without them?
The factory upper arms are too short for that ride height, so the ball joints operate at incorrect angles — causing rapid wear, poor handling, and uneven tyre wear. An alignment also cannot be set to spec.
Is a wheel alignment required after fitting?
Yes — a full four-wheel alignment is mandatory. The whole point of these arms is to restore geometry so that an accurate alignment can be set, so do not skip that step.
Can I install these myself?
Replacement requires a vehicle lift, suspension tools, and mechanical competence, so professional installation is recommended.
What warranty is included?
