Lexus GX550 Aluminum Off-Road Winch Front Bumper (2024+)
Off-road front bumper for the Lexus GX550 (2024+), built from 7075 aluminum alloy. At 32 kg (71 lb) it is lighter than an equivalent steel bumper, which keeps weight off the front suspension. A 6 mm (0.236 in) manganese steel winch plate rated for winches up to 12,000 lb is included as standard, and the bumper is fully e-coated inside and out. It bolts to the factory mounting points with no cutting, drilling, or welding, and is fully reversible.

The 7075 aluminum body keeps front-end weight down, while the winch plate uses 6 mm (0.236 in) manganese steel because that is where recovery loads concentrate. Steel is the right material for that specific job.
