1-Inch Subframe Drop Kit — Cayenne, Touareg & Q7 Lift Geometry Correction
Lift the body and the front subframe stays at factory height, leaving the CV joints, driveshafts, and control arms working at the wrong angles. The result is vibration, CV joint stress, and accelerated drivetrain wear. This kit lowers the front subframe by 1 inch on its factory mounting points, restoring correct driveline geometry without welding or fabrication.
Required from 3 inches of lift. At 2 inches the factory driveline angles stay within their working range, so a subframe drop is not needed on a 2-inch build.

Which option should I select?
Match the option to your car's model year. On the Cayenne: 955 is 2002–2007, 957 is 2008–2010 and 958 is 2011–2018. On the Touareg: Gen 1 is 2002–2007, Gen 1.5 Facelift is 2008–2010 and Gen 2 is 2011–2018. Or select Audi Q7. How far does this drop the subframe?
One inch. That is the amount of correction needed to bring the CV joints, front driveshaft and control arms back into their proper working angles on a lifted vehicle.
Is this needed at 2 inches of lift?
No. Lift geometry correction becomes necessary from 3 inches and above, where the driveline angles move outside the factory working range. A 2-inch lift does not need a subframe drop.
What exactly does a subframe drop fix?
Lifting the body leaves the front subframe at its original height, putting the CV joints, driveshafts, and control arms at incorrect angles relative to the wheels. That causes vibration, CV joint stress, and accelerated drivetrain wear. This kit repositions the subframe downward to restore correct geometry.
Is a wheel alignment required?
Yes — a full wheel alignment is required afterwards, and alignment cannot be set properly without it.
Can I install this myself?
The job requires safely supporting and lowering the front subframe, so professional installation is strongly recommended. Instructions are included.
