Aluminum Skid Plates & Rock Sliders — Porsche Cayenne 955/957 & VW Touareg (2002–2010)
Full-length rocker panel protection and a non-slip step surface in one bolt-on unit, built from 7075 aluminum alloy & manganese steel. More side coverage than a slider tube alone, at lower weight than steel.
Each generation has its own set — choose your car from the Select your vehicle dropdown above. Both Porsche and VW facelifted these cars for the 2008 model year and the rocker mounting points changed with them, so the set is cut and drilled for the car you pick. Four options cover the range: Cayenne 955, Cayenne 957, Touareg Gen 1 and Touareg Gen 1.5 Facelift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which option should I select?
Match the option to your car's model year. Cayenne 955 for 2002–2007 cars, Cayenne 957 for the 2008–2010 facelift. On the Touareg, Gen 1 is the 2002–2007 pre-facelift 7L and Gen 1.5 Facelift is the 2008–2010 car. What is included?
Both sides — driver and passenger, skid plates, rock sliders — plus all mounting hardware.
How does this differ from the steel rock sliders?
This set adds full-length aluminum plating along the rocker panel rather than a tube alone, so it gives significantly more rocker coverage at lower weight. The steel sliders use 50 mm manganese steel tube.
Do I need to remove my factory running boards first?
Yes — the factory boards come off and this set mounts in their place using the same factory points.
