Manganese Steel Gas Tank Skid Plate — Porsche Cayenne 955/957 & VW Touareg (2002–2010)
A punctured fuel tank is dangerous and expensive to repair. This 3 mm work-hardening manganese steel plate gives the tank full coverage against rock strikes and trail debris, and bolts on to factory underbody points.

Which option should I select?
Match the option to your car's model year. Cayenne 955 for 2002–2007 cars, Cayenne 957 for the 2008–2010 facelift. Manganese steel or aluminum — which should I choose?
The 3 mm manganese steel plate suits serious rock crawling and repeated heavy impacts. The 5 mm aluminum version is lighter and better suited to overlanding and moderate off-road use.
Do I need to remove this for servicing?
Yes — the plate comes off for underside maintenance access, using basic tools.
Does this affect fuel tank ventilation or filling?
No. The plate mounts to factory underbody points and does not interfere with the filler neck, vent lines, or fuel system components.
Can I buy all the skid plates together?
