Porsche Cayenne 955/957 & VW Touareg 3-Inch Lift Kit Complete Set (2002–2010)
The maximum-clearance lift for the Gen 1 Cayenne and Touareg platform. Forged 7075 aluminum and high-carbon manganese steel spacers fit above the factory strut top mounts, retaining the factory air suspension while delivering the largest tyre fitment the platform will take.
Geometry correction is required with this kit — not optional. See below.
Two choices to make above: first your car, then your adjustment type.
Each generation has its own kit — both Porsche and VW facelifted these cars for the 2008 model year, so the hardware is matched to the car you pick from the Select your vehicle dropdown.
Then, under Adjustment type: Blue is the manually adjustable version — you set the correction yourself to suit your wheel and tyre package. Gray is fixed — preset at the factory, nothing to adjust. Choose blue if you want to fine-tune the geometry after fitting; gray if you would rather fit it and leave it.

Geometry Correction — Required at 3 Inches
At 3 inches of lift, CV angles, control arm geometry, and sway bar angles are all significantly affected. Running this kit without correction leads to accelerated tyre wear, poor handling, and possible CV joint failure. This kit must be paired with the 1-Inch Subframe Drop Kit, plus Tubular Upper Control Arms, Adjustable Sway Bar End Links, and Adjustable Level Sensor Links.

Which options should I select?
Two choices. First your car: the 955 is 2002–2007, the 957 is the 2008–2010 facelift; on the Touareg, Gen 1 is 2002–2007 and Gen 1.5 Facelift is 2008–2010. Then your adjustment type: blue for manually adjustable geometry correction, gray for the fixed version. If you are unsure which generation yours is, email your VIN to info@overlandtrek.com before you order.
What is the difference between the blue and gray versions?
Blue is manually adjustable — you set the geometry correction yourself, which lets you fine-tune it to your wheel and tyre package after fitting. Gray is fixed, preset at the factory, with nothing to adjust. Both correct the geometry; the blue version simply gives you control over how much. If you are running an unusual wheel offset or a larger tyre than standard, the adjustable version is the safer choice.
Does this remove or replace the factory air suspension?
No. The factory air suspension is completely retained. The spacers fit above the factory strut top mounts, so all air suspension components, sensors, and compressors stay in place and operational.
Is geometry correction really required at 3 inches?
Yes — required, not optional. At 3 inches, CV angles, control arm geometry, and sway bar angles are significantly affected. Running this kit without correction causes accelerated tyre wear, poor handling, and potential CV joint failure.
Is a wheel alignment required?
Yes. Fit the geometry correction parts first, then book a full wheel alignment immediately. Do not drive long distances before both are done.
Is a 3-inch lift legal where I live?
Vehicle modification and ride height laws vary considerably by country and by US state, and a 3-inch lift exceeds the limit in some regions. Check your local regulations before fitting. If you need to stay within a lower limit, our 2-inch kit may be the better option.
What is the largest tyre I can run?
